Roger Daltry
Front man of the legendary band ‘The Who’ Roger has secured his position as one of the greats of rock music. Something of an actor, he starred as a deaf, mute and blind pinball player in the film ‘Tommy’, a 1970’s rock opera alongside fellow musical legends Elton John and Tina Turner, a film for which ‘The Who’ wrote many of the songs. They also wrote the musical score for the film ‘Quadrophenia’. In this painting, I wanted to portray him at the height of his fame during the late 1960’s and the Woodstock Concert era at which ‘The Who’ performed
